I just drove from TN to FL last week to pick up a 1 owner 2000 RT/10 VIPER with 16k miles , the soft top still hadn't been took out of its bag. Was sitting on its original tires, that had to be replaced.

I'm English so there are a lot of American cars I don't know but this is one I've always liked. It's very pretty and with more than 400 HP and one and a half tonnes it has the performance to match its sporty looks. Describing this as a barn find is completely wrong but it's a great find nevertheless.

Funny, as soon as I read the title, I knew it was Cuba MO, and as soon as I saw the houses I knew it was Indian Lake. I know the car hadn't been driven on those streets since 2014 'cause that's when the subdivision tag expired on the windshield and those people don't play around. You should stay in touch with her, there is sooooooo much Boomer money around that lake. Not going to be the last "Lake Garage" find there for sure. Not a place you can just drive around though.

Ive been buying vintage & new'ish tube hifi equipment and ubber high end hifi & home theater equipment that can cost as much as $500k when new since 1999,the biggest issue i quickly learned was to always meet in strangers homes armed ,and to take atleast an extra $50k with me incase the widow has some other crazy expensive something her husband bought & she now is willing to sell something for a quarter of its resale value on ebay,the best unexpected score i found was at a widows home i went to to buy a pair of Mcintosh speakers that cost $120k when new when she showed me her husbands ultra rare Bob Carver 700 watt tube mono amps that sell for $40k to $70k ,since i met her asking price of $20,000 for the speakers she let me buy the mint condition Carver amps for $5,000 as a package deal ,i still have the amps & will never sell them because they are more rare than this Corvette ,the speakers i flipped in 8 days for a $15,000 profit or $10,000 if deducting the mono amps i kept .

The 66 came only with a 4bbl, no tri-power. It is not original, just looking under the hood. But the buildsheet will fill in the blanks. I am not sure about the Shelby, I thought all GT350s started life as K-codes. My brother owned a 67 L71 coupe... they are beasts... Torque out the ass... but all that power and bicycle tires... sigh... oh, and don't get too carried away by 60s power ratings, they changed in 1972 and the numbers fell like rocks. What was 450hp was now 325! Gross ratings to net ratings... my ex-gf has a 1971 Mustang Mach 1... it has the base 210hp 302, the next year, the engine was identical, and it now put out 140hp. Ouch.
